Green on black

My favourite colour combo!

And yes I have now stitched all the green on Black Bloomers.

I've taken a break from unpacking and dedicated the last few days to stitching on Black Bloomers. The next update should be of a finish :) :)

In the meantime the unpacking and search for employment continue.  I have another job interview scheduled for tomorrow morning.  And then I MUST spend some time on Claire's RR.

Me too :) :) I adore black and green. The new backpack Mr Bears bought me is black but lined with emerald green. Just beautiful!

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately its looks like I will be unemployed until July at least. The last couple of interviews I went to informed me they would not be able to fill the positions until the next financial year (starts 1 July here). And there are no other jobs being advertised.

Bad time of year to be looking. Flip side is I can spend time unpacking and stitching my stash - inexpensive and therapy at the same time :)

Sorry to hear it doesn't look good on the job front right now. Hope the unpacking goes smoothly and you find lots of fun things to play with in your stash!

Bother on another month of unemployment but well done you for thinking about getting the house sorted! (oh and your stash of course LOL)

Sorry to hear about the job market Mel. That really does stink. I know of a few people over here who are looking for jobs and they are in the same situation. Enjoy having the time to settle into the new house and enjoy your stitching. You'll be employed before you know it!

Project looks great, Mel! Love the colors on the black. I hope all goes well with the job search. I'm sure there are a lot of places that are waiting to do their hiring until later. It sounds like you've got great plans to fill you time while you wait!

I think I have something sorted out job wise. Been told on the quiet that I'll be offered a part time role at a local library as soon as the paperwork is sorted out. Probably next week. I've also had a couple of places ask me if I want to go on their books as a casual so there might be a better income here and there in busy times.

So I think it will all work out.

Fantastic Gothy! Less stitching time, um .... but more stash cash!

Sounds great, Mel! You'll have to let us know how it all works out!

I'm so glad you'll get at least some income, Mel! I know you probably hate to live on Mr. NTB's pocket!

Being engaged in different places could turn out to be a good experience - if you get bored at one place you move on to the next - or so, LOL
