WIP - Ash

Ash by Firewing design.

I beleive Eva was thinking about the Kansas grass fires when she designed this piece.

She has personalised a different wording for me after seeing and discussing the Black Saturday Victorian bushfires in 2009.

Ash by FireWing designs

After the Black Saturday fires in 2009 I spoke with Eva (FireWing designer) and she personalised a version of this chart for me. This will be a gift for a friend so ther personalisation will be made apparent as stitching continues.

Started 1 January 2010.

Oh I love the colour of the fabric. It will look terrific when it is done.

We didn't put her name on it or anything, we just changed the wording to reflect the much harsher firestorms we have here.

Very fitting sentiment to remember those horrible firestorms! The colour of the fabric is a firestorm in itself :-) - great start, Mel!

Great start and the fabric colour is certainly a good choice.
