Round Robin - time to move on ...

It is September, time to send those Round Robins on (if you haven't done so already) :)

I believe we have Laura joining us now so the rotation is:

Mariann -- Rosanne -- Kay -- Julie -- Mel -- Sisu -- Laura

Is this correct?

I finished off my part of Julie's RR last weekend and posted it onto to Sisu on Friday.  Julie's ideas on Alchemical Romance are lots of fun.  I admit I spent far more time choosing floss and doing floss tosses than I did actual stitching!

I'll write more when I can get my freaking laptop and my freaking camera to freaking talk to each other {pant, pant}. And I will have some photos to share.

So how's everyone else going with their first round?

Mine will go out Thursday when I go to town. Rosanne's is like a bar of chocolate - very very moreish and then when you gorge on it you wish you'd been a bit more refined. I haven't quite finished but will post a pic when I do.

Mine will go in the post this Thursday too. Just need to drop in at the post office to grab a postpack.

I'm almost finished with Mariann's amazing Double band Sampler. I am so tempted just to keep going with this one but I will be good and post it on to Kay on Wednesday when ago to the Post Office.

Thanks for the complement, Kay! I know what you mean about these big Motif samplers. They do become very addictive when you really get going on them. Perhaps I should have chosen shades of brown instead of blue to echo the moreishness!

Some of us are already addicted to cholocate enough dear without needing any more encouragement :) :) :)

What's the old phrase: Lead us not into temptation, for we know the way ourselves. And in some cases all the shortcuts, hidden paths and transdimentional portals!

Oooooo, I'm happy to join but haven't planned anything. So, I'll sort through UFO's this week and send one on by the weekend. I just need to see what jumps out at me and screams the loudest to be mailed!

I've sent Sisu's on to Rosanne just yesterday - I'll post a photo of my progress when I get home

Was a fun stitch, Sisu!

TY Mariann, I am glad you enjoyed it. And disregard my note to the RR group. I sent it like 3 e-mails ago asking what the mailing order was now with the additions, LOL. Mel's will in the mail to Laura on Friday.

Mine went in the post to Julie today

My blog post on Julie's is now up on my blog too :)

Mariann's is in the post to Kay as I write this and Sisu's has safely arrived with me. I've been v quiet as I broke my auxiliary keyboard and had to replce it which got done yesterday. The keyboard connector on the motherboard of my laptop is faulty so the spacebar, letters n and b do not work. Very frustrating!

I got Mel's this week in the mail. I've nearly finished the stitching on mine and will get it to Mariann either today or Monday. Don't panic, Mariann, it's not very big so it should be easy to finish it up in time!
