My Neighbours

Well I was going to keep this blog completely stitching related but I'm afraid I need to rant about my neighbours somewhere. Feel free to ignore - I think I'm doing this more for the cathartic experience.

Bugger time's gotten away from me - I need to get to work. Oh well - will rant and cleanse later ...

As soon as I find two minutes to rub together to get it done I'm still on tenterhooks about the possible new place and I'm not sleeping well as a combination of nerves and neighbourly harrassment - I feel like I'm spending my nights wandering around in a fog. Did no stitching last night, no reading - went to bed around 10pm and still feel like crap this morning. Whine ! moan ! It'll get better

Both my work and my mum got calls from the new Real Estate after 5pm last night. My supervisor gave me rave reviews, pointed out that he lived around the corner and would love to have such a sensible conscientious quiet person living so close! He told I was really very interested in the place (raving about it) and he had no hesitation what so ever in recommending that they give me the place over all other candidates! Isn't he so sweet!

They rang my mum and confirmed that yes she was my mum and I was indeed looking for a new place because of the explosive neighbours. They then asked heaps of questions about Trouble - probably because the house backs onto a bush reserve. And mum confirmed she was an older cat who prefers to stay indoors - she doesn't hunt, she runs away from birds and other animals. She is fully house-trained, mum;s never seen her have an accident inside ever. She even pointed out that I have a habit of always cleaning the litter before I leave the house. Possibly too much info, but you've got to love your mum!
