Well the replacement threads came in the mail on Friday and I got an hour's stitching in last night - so all the cotton is complete. Only the backstitching left to do. To my eye the thread is definitely a different dye lot - but hopefully the backstitching might tone that down a bit.

It is so cute! I have to add this to my stash soon :) I just love it! This will be a great finish for you.
I'm a hoping - anyway I seem to be caught up on the last 24 hours of emails now (wont comment on the last two weeks of backlog) so I'm off for an hour's stitching before waking Paul up and then brunch and then off to work for the afternoon.
I saw the model for this out at PTP -- it's such a pretty piece! I don't think your new thread will show, especially after you get the bs done. Congrats on the progress!
