Snowflake and the flu

Well after pushing myself to work all week I gave up today and spent the day at home. I slept in, made a proper cooked brekky, felt better and cleaned the house a bit, then gave in and slept some more. Spent late this afternoon doing some cross stitch.

So now I've run out of the metallic thread that Patti so kindly supplied. I'm taking tomorrow off work as well and I might start work on Mystery MIX again.

I'm off to bed again.

Wow. It's amazing what a difference the backstitch is making. Hope you feel better soon.

Yikes...flu...nasty! Here's hoping by the time you read this (and the time difference and all that) that you feel heaps better. {{{Mel}}}.
Hope you can get more of the metallic pronto as it's looking simply gawjus!!!

I'm hoping you're feeling better already - and now that you've done more of it, I really like the piece with the backstitching!

Thanks Guys - I placed an order with Karen @ dragonflydreams last night - I should have the threads in about a fortnight. So I will continue then :)

As to the flu - well having the last two days off has helped - I've definately turned the corner and started to get better :) Still very "out of it" though. Not sure I'm up to any stitching more brain intensive that backstitching around stuff already stitched :)

That is looking wonderful Mel! and if you can do stitching like this when you are feeling under the weather then I am even more impressed!

Hilary, Don't be too impressed - all I did when the flu was bad was backstitch .... and even then I did the top left snowflake *five* times!
