Peeved beyond belief

Its finally cooled enough for me to stitch - so I've been beavering away at it for hours and just discovered a large chunk was done in the wrong colour (two symbols too similar and I chose the wrong one).

Going to sulk now and perv on Daniel Vitori instead.  (New Zealand cricketer).

Har-umph!

Its going to take me hours to undo and redo .....

I have no idea what you are talking about except that you are not happy. I've found that cracking a bottle or tinnie of something works about now. ;))

Or, if you were as old as I then the classic sixties advice comes to mind. Take a chill pill.

;))

I really hate when we you do a project only to find out you did something wrong and then have to redo it.

Sorry Mel!!!! Sadly, I know that feeling all to well. :(

I hate when too symbols look so similar. On my latest fairy there are 2 symbols that are mirror images of one another......and they are right next to one another on the chart. Drive me nuts. Sorry the giant frog came to your house.

That stinks Mel! I hope the frogging and re-stitching goes as painlessly as possible.

Ouch.
Done that myself a time or two. I hope you get it back on track while it is still cool enough to work on it.

Yuck. I hate it too, when not only are the symbols similar, so are the colours. If I have to use similar symbols (even arrows going in different directions) I try to make sure they are on very different colours so it's immediately obvious if you pick the wrong one.

I hope some Daniel Vettori oogling helped. It got too late for me and I had to go to bed. Mum is staying and we recorded the tennis instead, so will watch that later today.

Kerry Daniel Vettori hit a 4 on the last ball which one the match :) Yes oogling really helped. For the other girls, he looks a bit like Daniel Jackson out of Stargate and has an incredibly gorgeous smile :)

The symbol was a #. There is the full hash, there is one with only one horizontal bar and there is one with only one vertical bar. I had picked that there were two similar symbols, but didn't realise there were three and the one I needed was the third ..... I had picked the symbol with one bar, but with the wrong one bar.

I took Jim's decision and drank beer - so no stitching done last night. I did get the frogging done, so I am EXACTLY where I was 10 days ago in my stitching .....

You have my sympathy.

Yuck. Sympathy coming over. I did that on a model and then had to frogg masses.

Well, it sucks to have to rip out that much - but at least you have the hardest part behind you already, and not sitting there making rude sounds to you. Or is that only mine that does that?

Melissa Hicks said...

Nah - its just sitting there making puppy dog at me instead :)

Definitely not! I really hate to leave something to be frogged! If you have to do it, do it immediately or it will really haunt you. I won't go back to a piece easily if it something on it still needs to be frogged!
