Colours Down Under opened a bricks and mortar shop. No-one besides Janine and Marilyn would be in the photos! Onver a dozen people in the shop, hiding behind me as took each picture!

There is still little bits of refining to do - but the shop looks excellent! Very welcoming and I could sit in there all day and fondle threads and stitch!

I see some Ink Circles charts peeking out! That's where you can get them Down Under. Looks like they are in good company.
I do wish I could see it in person.
My Dogwood Square will go up on display in the shop next time I visit. Also Janine has asked for Black Bloomers as soon as it is framed :)
IF Dad hadn't arrived from Adelaide yesterday I would have been there all day! Looks like it will be lovely. Looking forward to catching up with that lot (and your good self) soon.
wow looks good to me will plan a visit as soon as possible
Thanks for that walk through Janine's new shop! It's GORGEOUS!
LOL, delete the first...this one is great!
LOL, delete the first...this one is great!
Ooh, that looks so enticing!
Wow, I want to know what each and every piece is.
Damn, I wantz to rummage!!!
Oh I want every single one, Just to fondle of course, not to stitch with...
That's so cool!
It looks great and I congratulate Janine. I wish her every success which I'm sure it will be. I could certainly tuck into those cookies and damn the diet
Wow, how wonderful!!! I will have to take pictures of my new shop opening on January 4th - I've got the day off, so I can go until she kicks me out :)
Can't wait Cathy!
Have done so.
You can bring the pic up fullsized and see them all ...
Oooh yes please!
It looks like a lovely shop! And how exciting to have a new shop opening instead of one closing!
oh, so beautiful!
for me this would be aka: drool central!!
Oh, Mel, so happy for you! I really enjoy sitting and stitching with friends. Have fun!
Mel, thanks for giving us the photo tour. It looks wonderful! I love the setting and the inside looks great, too. So, was your wallet gasping when you left?
No. Unfortunately I'm being frugal with my spending habits at the moment until the personal financial situation is resolved.
I also appear to have two Christmas presents via the shop (one from mum and one from Janine) and no-one wants to buy a chart that might be already in a brightly wrapped parcel :)
THe threads however, I *could* go absolutely nuts over!!! 'm becoming a flossaholic. And wait until Janine gets more hand dyed fabrics in - I'll really be sunk then!
LOL, I totally get that!
"Hi, My name is Laura and I'm a fabric and floss junkie"
The thing is, even if there is a 12-step program, I'm not sure I'd ever want to join!!! That is, unless is was 12 steps to coming up with more $$ to spend on them!
Now THAT'S a twelve-step program I'd join in a flash :)
Hello, my name is Julie & I'm a floss junkie. I thought when I bought my first DMC that it was only a harmless experiment but then there were more & more, I couldn't seem to stop. Then a friend got me hooked on SNC and that's when the problems really started. When someone laced my DMC with a Carrie's creation silk I knew I was in serious trouble. I know I need to stop for myself & my family but the colours are soooo sweeet.
Pssst! Want to try some Gloriana or Caron Waterlilies .... high class ... straight from the factory ....
