Birds feeding

This is for all of you without bird feeders:

Close all the doors to the other parts of the house, turn the sound up, grab a glass of wine and pretend this is a window......

Result: Relaxation!

This is all I can hear at 8am on a Saturday morning. Near the end you can hear Lothario the neighbourhood stray cat in the background.

Wow, that's pretty cool... I love when, on the few nights we have the windows open in the fall, if I happen to be awake late at night, I will occasionally hear an owl in the woods behind the house. Our Cardinals and Blue Jays just aren't as cool as parrots of any kind :)

Very cool, I will share this with my coworkers!!

How cool. I think the noise of them would make me nuts eventually, but how cool to have them that close. Obviously parrots are a novelty here. And I love the name Lothario, and would have given it some thought for Phred, but I don't intend to allow him to get out and earn the name, so Phred works better.

Teegs I think I should have called him Pavarotti. He sings. He just sits a couple of feet away from the object of his attraction and he sings at them .......

Glad you liked the video ladies!

I very much enjoyed this video Mel. Thanks for taking the time to post it! We don't have anything quite that colorful... just band tailed pigeons and stellers jays this time of year. They are getting half drowned in the rain today.

I just keep coming back and watching again and again. They sure aren't songbirds, but they are so fascinating to watch! Keep filming, Mel, they are just so entertaining.

OMG...that racket would drive me insane within minute. Who knew they would be sooo vocal! Wow!
No wonder I can hear them when we are on the phone LOL.

You are getting great at this video stuff. It's such fun to watch.
