I was lucky enough to be the first person to stitch on Julie's RR, Alchemical Romance by Inkcircles. I stitched the nine symbols in the centre of the design. All these nine symbols represent gold - so each was stitched in a separate shade of gold. Also each was stitched in a different medium; cotton, silk, wool and a variety of differing metallics. I had a LOT of fun stitching this one!
I'm in a seven person round robin. Here is my progress on each person's piece.

Big Blue Beast is next! Just about to send Laura's on to Kay this week - once I'm fit to go to the PO.
Yup - having Big Blue Beast sitting here did spur me on to finish Kay's. I'm having fun with a couple of my own starts but Blue Beast will be started in the next couple days to be posted off to Sisu on 1st Feb :)
I'm looking forward to it - I haven't stitched a Martina Wiehenburg pattern yet ...
And now - an all new improved photo album with the correct photos *and* captions - grrrrrr!
The RR looks great! I will let you know when it arrives.
That is cute - but there's a whole lotta backstitching there!
Oh yes - lots and lots of backstitching :) :)
Looks like a fun one. I hadn't seen this one before. Great job!
Looks great!
Erm make that posted tomorrow - I forgot to take it when we went out today {blush} Also I ceaned it of cat hair too - sorry I forgot with the last one.
Thanks Mel. :)
Lovely.
Wow..Lovely.
Looks fantastic. Only 23 letters to go:))
Looks gorgeous so far!
Nice bit!
I know that these things are always difficult to place! Maybe putting in a square of stitches around the outer edge would help. I used that method on the oval table cloth just a line marking the centre in both directions
Oh my - it really is a beast! Lovely tho - looks great!
HUGE - and GORGEOUS!
I have to line up magnets to give me a count-over line, and a count down line - and count & recount multiple times (you know, not my best skill) - and then I try to remember to recount it again once I get it going. This looks great!!
Looking lovely - thanks folks!
These motifs always look like they should be so simple and quick until you get into them - they look great, though!
I wont swear to it, because hey there are days I can't count to three reliably, but I *think* some of the existing motifs I was using for placement reference were already a couple of stitches out. THat was what was confusing me. I could never get the horizontal and vertical axis to meet based on the placement of current motifs versus where the pattern says it must go.
I am also well aware that hey - maybe they all were right and it's just me that can't count :)
