Its done! The first pic is straight from the hoop. The second pic is after it has been edged, ironed and is now ready for framing. Or realistically, being wrapped.
Now to wrap it, and get on with everything else I have planned for the day. Its a cool, wet, miserable day, so I'm feeling good being inside curled up on the lounge. Need to be domestic now, clean house, wash clothes etc - about to start working 6 days straight from tomorrow.

It's gorgeous - congrats on the finish! We're supposed to have a lovely weekend, which is good since we're in Washington, DC for some outdoor events this weekend. Not much stitching, I'm afraid.. but I'll be making up for it shortly!
VERY well done! It looks wonderful!
Thanks all! I was rather pleased by the way it turned out - I might do a few more of the letters - I was thinking a D or an A and then centering it in the middle of a cushion cover, maybe edged in a dark green ....
Ok, colour me stupid...."D" and "A", who for??
Oh D for DancingKauri and A for a different non-stitching friend of mine. Sorry.
Would you like a C?
Would I like a "C"?? What, stitched for me?? Wow, that would be just lovely :)
When's your birthday dear?
