Catherine of Aragon

Well on a stitching related note, I've been so busy trying to get a house and now move, that I decided it was prudent to leave Mystery IX alone this week :) Seeing as I had Catherine out, I've been working on her all week. Just an hour or so a night.

I'm working all day tomorrow and Paul and some friends are meeting me straight after work and we are going out to see Pirates. So no stitching tomorrow - so here's my Sunday update now :)

Because I haven't worked on this project for over a year, here's a cover pic, the last update pic and tonight's pic all together.

Hugs all and goodnight.

Very pretty! I'm glad you're taking time to stitch while you're in the moving process :).

Well I've got 17days to pack and I'm working 13 of them. I figure if I don;t take time out to stitch or go to a movie or some other relaxation activity each evening, I will go stark raving balmy! I'll also get too stressed and start just flinging crap in boxes any old way and make life so hard with the move and after - not finding things, carrying stuff I don;t need etc. There's a plan, just gotta see if I can do it in the time frame allocated.

BTW has anyone seen Pirates? Any reviews?

Have fun at the movie! I haven't seen it yet but the first one was great and the trailer I have seen looks great too.

Good quick progress :)
Itching to see Pirates but he hates the movies in the theatre (which I love, the thrill of the big screen and alla that) so we're waiting on the dvd...bloody well hurry up already.

Haven't been to the movie yet, either. It's our duty weekend with the ambulance corps, so it'll have to wait until next weekend!

Well we saw the movie last night! Lots of special effects - loads of lovely scenery - saw at least 8 locations that would fit in a Pirates theme park. Johnny Depp - sooooo drool-worthy! Bill Nighy tones it down, but he still gets some great lines, and I adore the special effects they use to make his head move .....

As for the storyline and character development ..... ummm it had awesome special effects!

Now see, this is why we all need to live in the same area code. I love to see movies at the theatre while Himself would rather wait for the DVD or the dollar movie. I want to see them NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW.

The family and I saw Cars today. GREAT movie. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would and now I don't feel so bad about the family having chosen it over Superman Returns. I'm itching to see Pirates asap but again, DH wants to wait. He has a point, for the price we may as well wait for the DVD since we all know I'm going to buy them anyway, but dang.. it's the big screen and the popcorn always tastes better when I'm not at home ;)
