Yes - actually I originally thought it was a bit silly - but it has worked to keep me focused and concentratrating on one task at a time, instead of half-doing 8 tasks and getting stressed because nothing actually got completed. Also when the list is done, I can sit and relax and stitch, knowing that I've accomplished something, so I don't feel guilty about relaxing.

I'm glad it's working! I usually find that writing things down works better for me, too.
