I stashed

My most recent wins on eBay: I am considering taking the Story time one to work with me at Nappy Valley, working on it during my lunch times and then hanging it in the children's section when I finish.

Or do you think that might not be appropriate? I treat kids the way I wanted to be treated when I was a kid (ie as a mini adult) and that upsets some parents ....

Story time
Scrub a dub dub
Ho Ho Ho
You are special.

I really like you are special and I think I will hang that one in my bedroom when I have stitched it.

I think that Story Time is still a very appropriate kid friendly design.

Great stash! I also think Story Time is a perfect kid friendly design.

Great stash! And I don't see Storytime as being inappropriate at all!

I think those charts are great! And Story Time would be perfect for a kid's reading area. C'mon - the whole aim of the library for young kids is to fuel their imaginations and to show them that books are fun. I've seen our WHOLE library, not just the kid section, decorated in mural paper and made to look like a giant castle scene for the summer reading program. You'd have loved it, Mel!

Thanks for your support everyone! I had a great first day out there yesterday and I got along well enough with "my staff" that I will take this out today to show them and get started on it. As soon as I find that carefully packed piece of 28ct linen I have. Why do kits always come with Aida !!!!

Mind you, this win was so cheap, I would have paid the same cost for just the chart! So its no great loss to sub out the fabric - but now I've got to find the linen. DancingKauri - wanna visit Saturday and help me unpack my craft room?

Well, that depends. Do you want me to return the charts I "borrowed" or do you want me to "borrow" some more? Always happy to play with the goodies in your craft room, but I think I'd better leave the cc at home.

Honey, you can borrow as many charts as you like - I know you will purchases copies of the ones you decide you *must* stitch. And if I can "help" you use your credit card as much as you "help" me use mine, then its all good :)

Speaking of which, my cc is definitely whimpering after last night's fabric ordering. As well as the fabric for you, I ended up with two quarter yards and an eighth yard of hand dyed linens for myself !!!! I blame you, eBay and Tracy!

Oooh yeah lots of fun - unfortunately its now pay day and I have to deal with the responsibility of my fun ... oh well .... good thing doesn't cost any more money once you have all the supplies - we not until you finish it and think about framing anyway!
