You did quite a job on that back, LOL!

Poor Mel! Get some sleep and see you tomorrow!

It adds some nice texture...yeah; that's what it does!!

I have a project that my Mom did a long time ago and her back looks like that...and I know she had a scissors; she just didn't really cut anything off. Why?? Who knows!! lol

I have to chuckle. This SO perfectly describes a rough week!

Coughs loudly and reminds Mel of the cutter which is supposed to be attached to her work lanyard.....must get something for that cough.

Poor Mel. Sounds like the perfect end to a rough week. Hope you enjoy your weekend!!

When I forget scissors, I do still usually have nail clippers in my purse. Unless someone in my house has used them and left them laying somewhere. Have a great weekend - this has been a weird, long week here, too, and I'm pooped, even after staying home yesterday with a killer headache. 3 more hours, and I'm on weekend time, too!!

You mean the lanyard I soooooo conveniently left on my desk when I left work today ???? The Lanyard that contains all of my work passes and keys ?????

Yup - twas a looooong week! Hopefully someone else will be on the same bus on Monday and will let me in :)

Well its 5:30am Saturday morning here - but I was woken by a very well-meaning txt so I'm not complaining ....

OH NO! I'm sooo sorry - I thought you left the phone in the lounge so you wouldn't hear it. (Yes, I did think about the time, but I thought you'd get back to me when you were up and about.)

I didn't mean to start your weekend out that way....

Melissa Hicks said...

I do leave it out in the loungeroom - I still heard it :) :) :)

I figured if you were that worried to txt me at that time, then it was the right thing to txt you back immediately and let you know I was fine. And then seeing as I was up I automatically gravitated tot he computer ....

Now I should *really* go and see where all that storm damage really did occur.

Ok - I feel better then :). But after the pictures on the Weather Channel, I wanted to make sure you didn't have a disaster in your back garden again! :)

Sure looks and sounds like a frazzled week! Love the threads though....kinda puts the rest of the stuff in perspective. Cheers

There may be lots of loose threads but it still looks as though it will be a cute piece! I hope you get loads of rest honey!

Eh!..What'd I miss?? Not more debris on top of poor Hector?

Melissa Hicks said...

Nooo no no - there was apparently some storm damage elsewhere in the state - Paula thought it was here ......
