Updates

Afternoon all,

Mum is getting better but still off work until next Monday at the earliest.

The Removalist company called and my furniture will be delivered next Tuesday.  So I will leave mum's next Monday.

So I guess Monday will be a possibly good day for both of us.

In the last couple of days I've been helping mum whenever she's let me (but she did emotionally blackmail me into doing the vacuuming so she hasn't lost all her "mother" skills).

We've both been relaxing and I've done a small amount of stitching and we've watched some interesting documentaries on TV.

Oh and eating and sleeping.  We are both doing lots of both.

I suspect we both needed this down time ....

Now I'd better run before mum tries to hang the washing on the line or bring in a load of wood for the fire .....

PMSL..Mothers aren't very good at sitting still!
Glad you are both getting some quality rest and that Denise is a lot better.

Trubs talking to you now?

When is your actual start date for the new job?

Yeah, I think you do need some downtime, and it's good you can both get it together! Hope Denise gets past the aches soon, and hope all your stuff arrives with minimum hassle :)

Yep - now that mum is on the mend, and Im stuck until next week - we've taken a more relaxed attitude to the rest of the week and are relaxing, walking around the village, etc etc ....

So this is the break we both needed ... and if mum is wel enough later in the weekend we're going into Canberra to visit a couple of LNS .....

Well the weather has been awful so we've spending days at home watching pay TV. Scifi channel, UK-TV, Discovery Science :) :) :)

Mum got the all clear this afternoon. She's fine to go back to work next week. She still needs to take it easy for a week or so, but she's cleared to return.

If she didn't think it would cause a relapse, she would be literally jumping for joy.

Great news that your Mum has been given the all clear - this means lots of time at the LNS then I am guessing!

When do you actually start your new job? Have you got a couple of days to get yourself settled into the new place? and has Trubs come around yet?!
