Of No Fixed Abode .......

Well I'm at mum's now.

Old house is done and dusted, work is finished, I've said goodbye to friends and I drove to mum's this morning with a rather full car.

Mum is happy to see me - Trubs is quite in her element showing proper levels of disdain .....  Everything is as it should be .... :)

My furniture wont be delivered to the new place until Friday next week or even Monday the week after (God I hope it is Friday !!!) So I'll be at mum's place for around a week.

Might even get some stitching in .....

Hope it goes rather more smoothly than ours.

Hope everything works out well - I know how frustrating it is waiting for your furniture to arrive, but at least it shouldn't take as long as mine did!!! Enjoy the time at your mum's too.

So glad you're at least 'bunked' somewhere. Moving is always a PITA but once you're in your new place and getting settled, it will be forgotten. Have fun at Mum's while you're there - you two can have a 'stitching night' every night! Cheers

The good side of it is you get to spend more time with your mum :-) AND you get to take Trubs with you right away... Will she be able to go out walking again or will you have to keep her inside?

Would be nice for you if it was earlier that they deliver the furniture. Having the weekend to unpack and put things away would be a nice bonus.

So, how's Denise? how's her back? ...

Glad you made it there ok. Your texts were just fine BTW, not a problem ever.

Glad you get a break before you have to start a new life!
Big hugs to you, Mum and scritches to Trubs...Buzz says mrow.

At least you can take Trubs to your Mum's! I daren't try it with Phredd! DC and Phredd would leave cat hair every where, fighting, I'm sure of it. He'd prolly say mrow too, but right now he's sleeping off a catnip high. You'd fall out laughing if you could see how he has his nose tucked in.

I think you are gonna be so much happier with this new job and new location.

Homelessness is good. I spent 7 weeks sleeping on the floor of a friends flat with everything I owned spead to the winds before I completed on this house. My cat was with Danny, Dudley the dog was in kennels, most of my possessions were in storage and my stash was at Lyn's! It was a schizoid few weeks but enlightening. I missed Duddles and Harry most of all and it was utter bliss when I finally slept in my own bed again! Go with the flow and you will thrive.

Mum's feeling better and is able to go back to work tomorrow on "light duties". I can see how she's been improving over the few days I have been here already.

I have had a good time, de-stressing, doing lots of napping, eating and a little bit of stitching.

Sisu can you check the RR group and advise me on Fiendish Tea please?
