Sunday update ....

Well I have a quick addendum.  Just after I posted my update, mum sent me a photo of Tutankhamen framed and on her wall.  So I've added that to my finished album.

Wow, great frame! That moulding mimics the gold & turquoise so well - it's perfect!

Thanks all - if you look in my Finished Items album http://gothtigger.multiply.com/photos/album/2 you'll see that Mayet and Iuaa have exactly the same frame. Eventually mum will receive all six of the Ross Originals Egyptian Profiles and they will be the exact same size, with the exact same frame and size of matting. I've just changed the colour of each mat to suit each piece.

They will look stunning Mel! Has your Mum got enough wall space for all of them? (if she hasn't then there is a house in Cheshire that would love to take them off your hands LOL - the fact that the house belongs to my parents is just incidental *snigger*)

{LOL} I think mum has adequate space until she starts getting more finishes done herself - then she might start to run out :) :) :)

Ah well worth a try LOL - so which one are you planning on stitching next?

I can't answer that - mum might read this .....

Yep, they do, but for some reason, it is even more striking on this piece. It's got to be because the lines on the moulding go the same direction as the gold & turquoise lines of the headdress - it just pulls your eye right in to the middle. I can't wait to see what all 6 of them look like; that's going to be an amazing display!
