Not getting much stitching done lately

I wonder why ???

And that's not including the excess of heat and the surfeit of cricket .....

I was very quietly stitching away with Trubs and Mr Bears sound asleep upstairs, when she came down, walked straight over, jumped up next to me and sprawled all over the pattern, scissors, and threads.

After I took the picture I gave her a huge scritch and stroke. I'm such the tough guy :)

Maybe she was trying to tell you it was time for bed? Sam will flop into my lap and across whatever stitching stuff is in the chair and growl at me...

New needle holder? in XXXL?

She looks very comfortable. I have a Millile constantly wanting to be on my lap.
Well that is my excuse anyway.

I think the cat wants to learn how to stitch so she can cover the house with dog pictures to throw darts at...

I have to say that I would have taken the picture and then pushed her off - that's what my cats endure if they dare to lie on the stitching stuff!

I almost killed Minou last night! He had the great idea to jump on my desk - right next the keyboard of the (running) laptop. I gave him a good shove down and he knew nothing better but to claw the keyboard and pull out several keys!!! I was SO mad I saw white. I don't know how many times I've taken him off the desk when something was on the free area in front of the monitor, but he just doesn't get it. Showed him the cold shoulder all evening. Still a bit mad this morning. Took me more than an hour to find all the pieces to put the keys back in order - at least they're still working and I was even able to put them together.

So - certain areas around me are a strict no-no for my cats.

Hey, I'm the one who's usually real soft!

Looks like a touch of the "I'm more important look". Time you taught her to stitch.

Its rare that she does naughty things, and nothing was hurt. She never claws my stitching or jumps on the kitchen counters or anything else she's not allowed to do - so I can forgive her for lying on the stitching materials ....

I think she was making a point as I'd just picked Stephen up at the airport, and he was upstairs sleeping off the redeye flight from the other side of the country ....

Stephen adores her so she's treated like royalty when he is here and I think she was testing my boundaries to see what rules had changed :)

It's that tortie look again! I do so miss having a cat.

"Love me, love my cat". Looks like Stephen has passed that test!

Oh yeah! Its almost gotten to the point of "would you still love me if I didn't have this cat".

Almost :) :)
