And I'll even go more controversial and say SO WHAT!!!! The rest of the movies listed here were crap - and I ignored them out of choice! Where are the good movies?? The intellectual movies? The old classics ??????? All this shows is how much crap Hollywood has been spewing out in the last couple of years! I didn't see a single indie movie listed here! Not one!

I know for a fact that I have watched many more movies than the ones listed here - but horror does nothing for me nor do films that I would call ..... well ...... stupid! (Dumb and Dumber, American Pie etc)
Exactly! Yes! Why have left out Maltese Falcon, Casablanca - and put in Dumb and Dumber ????
Oh well.
I don't know where the list started, but from some of the content, I highly suspect it was someone quite a bit younger than I am {wink}
Ir is an extremely curious mix of movies - a few older ones (the Star wars first trilogy and Princess Bride come to mind) but most of the others have been pout out in the last couple of years .....
Next time I'm at work I'll dig out Empire magazine and grab a list like the top 100 movies of all time or top 50 sci-fi movies and see how many we have all seen of those ..... might be better for our tastes and target range ????
And notice there isn't a single 20th century war movie on here - there's about 100 right there. No Clint Eastwood movies; this list definitely looks like it was put together by my 13-year-old. Which is why I've seen probably close to 175 of these listed, either "the boys" in charge of renting, or on tv when nothing else was on.
And everyone knows Ace Venture:Pet Detective was 1000 times funnier than Dumb & Dumber :)
