I was thinking something like a mottled sand colour (simulates sandstone) as this would blend with the archway. If you had a piece (or a piece of paper in a similar colour) do a floss toss and see how it works.

That is going to be so beautiful!

I'm with Hillary... actually, I think the piece of PTP Legacy that I have would be lovely - or perhaps Fresco.

I have lost count of the number of times I have tried to reply to this. I wrote the ptp group and that was returned too.
Anyhow, Fog, Sterling, Dawn and maybe Willow. I like Fog the best.

Yup - I think with PTP I'm tossing up between Fog and Legacy .... might have to get a bit of both and do a floss toss from there ......

Very pretty! and looks like a lot of color changes. What is the fabric you are using?= Never mind...just answered my own question. This looks like the fabric that I want to use for Chatelaine's Castle Sampler.

That looks very good for a start, Mel! I have about the same amount on Queen Anne's Lace to show off :-) But there were way less colour changes than on yours!

Looking great Mel. Sorry you aren't feeling well. Will be keeping you in my thoughts!!!

It looks great, so far! And so much more substantial than my feeble outline of the border, which is all I got done on Cedric last week!

great start. You did about the same amount as I did. Hope you are feeling better by now and that the new job lives up to expectations.
