Thank you ladies - this design is a combination of petite braids and needlepaint floss with some kreinik blending filament and DMC 310 to round it all out. I've not used Needlepaints before so this will be fun.
It actually looks like a much easier stitch than I first thought! The complexity and beauty of the design comes from the choice of materials rather than complex stitching (like say a TW for example). Even only working on this on Fridays I might get this done in time for my birthday!
Congratulations give the woman a rose !!!! She's done better than most men I've ever had in my life! Including my Dad !!!!
August 15th it is. That gives me 17 Fridays to get this design finished! As long as I have more energy than last night, I should make it with no worries .....
It looks great so far... can't wait to see more! And I'm thinking of braving the fallout from yesterday's snowstorm and heading to the LNS... so I can get the rest of what I need for Smoke.
