Mel's Wednesday Update
well here's my second day on leave and everything is progressing well.
I have a dentists appointment scheduled for next week.
I started back at the gym today and it feels awesome !!!!
I have my phone line changed over now.
I found two really good jobs to apply for today !!!
I got more done on mum's present but I've run out of gold thread so that will have to wait now ...
I have no excuses left - I have to finish off Tracey's model job now. I'm quavering in fear - its a finishing style I've never done before so I'm very very nervous and have been putting it off. I'll do it tomorrow!
I'll gird my loins and just do it.

I have no doubt you'll be able to finish it just fine! You have the skill and talent, dear, so don't sweat it. Just one stitch at a time...
Wow, you sure have gotten a lot done! And I'm sure you will do just fine on finishing the model - I'll bet it's easier than you think it's going to be, once you get going. Is it something you can practice on another piece first? My first anything is always the guinea pig....
I'm sure you're up to the finishing - just take your time and go one step at a time. (And don't be a "guy" - read the directions! LOL)
Mel, you'll be fine - the finishing will go great
I think I have the directions memorised by now :) But I will take it slow and easy after P goes home and there's just me here and I will just work my way through it. It can't be that hard, its just scary because its new and its a model piece. But if the worse comes to worst I can always stitch up another couple of motifs and try again ......

Replying from mum's account. I'm here, we're both fine and both been stitching up a storm last night. Mum got more done on FireFlower and I've started a little travelling piece called Stellar by Moonflower designs. Should be finished before I come home on Monday. We're having a great time so far! Mum's just cooking scrambled eggs for breakfast - she makes the best scrambled eggs!
