This chart designed and created by Gail Jones. Gail RAKed me with this chart so of course I had to do an immediate floss toss.

I think it would look awesome here

This one is my favorite.

I like the seaside twinkle. The colors go beautifully.

I love this one. Winter Skye seems perfect as I thought the light blue and grey faded away too much on Seaside.

I agree with Terri. I like this one. Cheers

I like the Seaside Twinkle. It's hard to go wrong with a sky blue background.

This one I think - the colours seem to "pop" more

Meg Lark said...

Seaside Twinkle, definitely.

I think you're getting a message here... ;-)

I am leaning towards the seaside twinkle

Seaside Twinkle!

Natalie Mikesell said...

I vote winter skye or sugar cookie :)

Karen R said...

I like this one - the Seaside is gorgeous, too, but this lets the colors of the thread really show off.

I like this one best, It will show up the colours more

Here's another vote for Seaside Twinkle.

I vote for seaside twinkle! Congrats on the RAK!

OK the designer says Seaside Twinkle - so Seaside Twinkle it is.

I'll hopefully start after dinner tonight.

I like Seaside Tinkle better!! LOL

I think I like this one best. But Seaside Twinkle is nice too.

My vote is for either Winter Skye or Sugar Cookie.

Remind me never to take you to the beach when you visit me Nancy :) :) :) :)

Yay!!! Though this doesn't look bad, in my opinion - it's hard to get the full effect without the colors to soften the edges. If you have no problem seeing over-1, I think you'll like it.

Better that than your pool! And if all goes well , we will meet in 2009, is there any chance of seeing water??? :-)

Great start Mel! I love the opalescent fabric that you chose for this design!

It's looking really pretty. Great work. Enjoy the eyestrain.

{LOL} Thanks soo much !!!!

Looks much more delicate. I did the other butterfly model 1 over 1 and it really does look much better. It may be a pain, but stick with it. It will look great.

Melissa Hicks said...

Oh good - I confess I didn't notice when I saw your pics - oh I'm sooo glad I made the right decision with this one then ......

kay jones said...

That looks much better. It becomes much easier the more you do (ducking and running like h..ll)

Nancy Murdock said...

Lovely restart! You will get used to the over one, or you will get stronger glasses like me!! I have a tiny Kreinik santa kit, its on the 40 ct silk, you see me rushing to get that one started don't you???

Debbie Lord said...

Mel, the second start certainly looks a lot better. Heh! what's wrong with 1 over one 1 on 28 ct love it (ducks & runs)!!

Paula Hubert said...

I do like this one much better! I'm not a huge over one person, either, but I bought fabric to do one of Marc Sastaad's over one on 25 count. You'll notice that it hasn't made an appearance as a WIP yet! lol
