OK so it *sounds* like alliteration ....
After a night of disturbed sleep I received a rather wonderfully long phone call from Claire this morning !!!! (eeep I didn't realise how long we'd been on until we hung up !!!!)
I love conversations that range all over different topics :) And she has a gorgeous accent and a great sense of humour and is a treasure mine of information !!!!!!
Just posting pics here and in my Fabrics album of the FOTMs that arrived in the mail a couple of days ago - this is the November selection and then in the album are both November and January - there's a light green with a faint mottling of purple (I know Chele wont pinch that one) A lovely terracotta, a beautiful mottled blue and white (TC restart 5 perhaps?) and a lovely pale warm beige .....
I'm also slowly adding more pics in my wildlife album - a possum that visited last night and a kookaburra I took pics of over New Years.
Also depending on my upload times, there will be a cute new pic of Trouble in her album at some point over the next few hours .....
Off to do a touch more on Fire Flower before posting update ......

ROFL......talk when I eat....on the phone? and try to talk and eat and laugh? not a good idea.
Laundry is usually when it's night-time Aus time and stitching time could be any time of day .....

LOL So it seems that Claire was busy chatting this weekend! I had a lovely birthday chat, too! I was sooo surprised! (Since she'd already texted me!). It was fabulous to hear her voice! Glad you had a good weekend, Mel... I'll be checking out the pics shortly

I think Laura did look at Kermit. Yes, we went, but I left my cell phone in the van and it was total choas in the shop anyway, so it wouldn't have been a good day for overseas calls. True to form, Laura managed to spend loads of MY money quite easily... Paula, I need to make sure I have your address... belated birthday present to be mailed.... eventually....

Actually the scary thing is I think it is affordable for me to ring you guys too. As long as I'm ringing a land line, it will only cost me 7 cents per minute as long as I limit each call to 30 minutes in length.
So I sat here for flipping hours waiting for you to text for nothing.....Every two minutes..."Steve, has my phone chimed?"....grrrr...

And I offer up a Thousand Apologies for that error in judgement. Once I realized I'd left the phone in the van, I was going to go get it, but it just seemed so chaotic that I knew there wouldn't be any way to have a real conversation.
You'll have to wait until those mythical cards get mailed! No, seriously, one more item to add to a certain box and then everything should get shipped out by the end of this week. Once they've arrived, I can show stuff off, but until then, you'll just have to wait.
Can I just say, I know there's a little Biscornu from Laura in it so feel free to show yours off!!!
