Over on the PTP yahoo group they've decided to do a FireWing Friday so we can all stitch on Eva's designs as a SAL. I half-jokingly added "well then, lets do a Moonflower Monday too!"
So last night being Monday, I pulled out an old Moonflower WIP and started working on it. I started Patty's Gothic last year, but made a mistake right at the
beginning and put it down without frogging! So last night I pulled
this back out of my UFO pile. I finally found my mistake and frogged
and re-stitched. Phone calls then interrupted me and I got no further
for the evening. But I just wanted you to know that I did stitch on a
Moonflower project on a Monday :)

Don't feel awful Hilary - it wasn't *that* much progress ........ especially not in comparison with the melted needles of Claire, Chele and Karen!
I think my needles are in the freezer at the moment LOL
Hilary, Bugger the ornaments for now, they're bogging you down. Is there something you have which really appeals to you that you want to start working on? I'd dig it out and go for it. I find that's the best way to get out of a slump.

I'm definitely going to raid my savings and get the materials for singularity - it appeals so much!
Hmm I think you could be right! I think I will dig the Woodland Sampler back out as I think that is the one closest to completion :-)
Well, at least the frogging's done and you're moving forward - which is huge progress in itself! I have a horrible time if I put something down without frogging it....
Like last night :) I worked another arm on it and was just about to head to bed when I realised that I had miscounted right back at the beginning of that section - I sat and frogged 40 stitches and then went to bed. I figured if I didn't frog there and then I would waste too much time next time I worked on this finding the mistake again.
Also I treated myself today. Today is Valentines Day - not that I'm going to get anything, so I did a small S.E.X run with Picture This Plus. I've ordered:
FireWing Designs - Singularity (chart and fabric)
Moonflower Designs - Stellar (kit)
and a present for mum:
FireWing designs Shadow Storm (chart and fabric)
That's about it for now :)
I really love the Moonflower Designs. I was lucky enough to be the monthly winner last fall and got some lovely charts and fabrics. I've stitched Hearts on Heather and have Yule to go into rotation sometime soon!!
I'll be placing an order soon, too.. just have to see how much birthday cash I have left after what I'd already ordered from my LNS... I'm looking at Smoke by FireWing Designs... at least right now!

Didn't order as much as I wanted, but I ordered the important ones :) And I will be working on the Moonflower colourscapes each Monday evening for a while and see if I can work through some of them :)
I've been having hassles with my rotation - changing on a monday doesn't seem to be working, so a little one on a Monday in between the large ones seems to be working better for me .....
