I'm home .......

Well I'm at work anyway - about to head home shortly ....

I had a fantastic Easter !!!!!  It was a really really good time !!!!

Had lots of fun, was very much indulged in all manners, caught up with some good friends, made some more great friends, and ate some glorious food.

Will blog about it all later.

Only jarring notes was Friday's presentation hanging over me (which I worked on over the weekend only to find that none of the work was saved to my USB key - and Stephen and his laptop are half way across the nullabor now and I have to hand in a first draft tomorrow morning).

Also received a couple of jealous nasty phone calls from Paul (ummm you broke up with me at Christmas remember!)

Other than that I had a ball, none of my worries or fears came to pass and I was very very sad to leave this morning....

Sounds like the next get-together might be in early June depending on how things pan out :)

Welcome Home Mel!!! Glad to hear you had such a wonderful time!

As to Claire's comment, that doesn't sound good at all and by all means try to do what she said to do if possible!!

Nah !!! Its just Paul being a jealous pratt. He sent a nasty email venting all his pettiness and jealousy and insecurities that I found when I got back today It was his way of getting in the last word and as such I wont have to worry about him anymore - he'll just sit on his misguided high horse waiting for me to come running. Well he can whistle dixie.

He split up with me back at Christmas and cannot now turn possessive or nasty simply because I spent Easter with friends instead of begging him back.

Stephen's gone back to Perth and we've decided to leave things as they are at the moment. A case of well when we can get together great, in the mean time we have our own lives to lead.

And I am very happy for that. I'm single and on my own and I'm happy with that - it could be worse - I could still be with Paul .... or my ex-husband. I know now why I prefer my own company and with the company of adults ..... not petty children :)

He's very fond of the last word! Bet that comes from Mumsy!

Block, block, block...email, text, real phone....just cut the twit out completely. He's so not worth it.
He obviously regrets losing you and should have treated you better at the time if he really wanted to keep you...to**er....

I finally realised this :) :) That's why I txted you to warn you that I was turning my phone off for the rest of the holiday :)

You mean the text I didn't get?? LOL

I figured it was Paul that was being the problem. And to me, he doesn't look at all dangerous. But if it gets to be more than a 'little kid' tantrum because he didn't get his way or the last word - then by all means take more serious measures. Your job is enough stress some days without a big 'baby' to deal with on your own time! We want our Gothy totally happy!

Chele

Oh bugger !!! I deliberately txted you and mum just so you wouldn't worry !!!!

The gorgeous B&B Stephen arranged and paid for unfortunately did not have any internet access so I did not check any emails for the whole week ..... so I figured someone might have worried that I wasn't answering my phone either .......

What she said:) :) :)

Hey Mel...Chele's meeting up with Colleen today.
Chele, don't take any finished projects to show her, you might return home empty handed!!!!

Your Gothy will be totally happy when she finishes re-writing this stupid presentation and heads to bed :)

And yes I am happy. I've got a much better head space now :) :)

Welcome back - you were missed!! But I'm glad to hear that you had such a lovely break, too! Of course, there were a couple of things that I thought "must text Mel" over, but decided to wait till you got back - and now of course I can't remember. LOL

Pppphhhhhhhhhttttttttttt !!!! I will always accept txts from you honey !!!!!!!!

OK - 20 minute presentation is finished. Its reaaalllllllllyyyyy dumbed down from what I did on the weekend but I figure that doe 20 mins to a bunch of bored people, I would make it picture heavy, text light and focus on the illicit activities.

Copies of first draft ready to be emailed to anyone interested .....

OK off to bed - see you all on the flip side ......

Not sure if you're awake yet, but feel free to email it to me - I'd love to see it! And I always think that watching a presentation by someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about the subject matter is interesting. I know you'll find a way to get enough information through to folks to keep them from being totally zoned out. (And who doesn't love illicit activities??? )

Awake? She's on the train...it's available as an attachment at the link below:)
