Did the 12 person RR never get finished Mel? (mind you at least you got yours back! I have had to replace mine - the companion piece is the Woodland Year Sampler that I have lost the pattern for - aaaaaaagh!!!)
Well Hilary - would you believe it - I still have 5 pieces still to go on it. 7 people including you and me worked on it ONLY.
However as you said at least mine was returned! Do you know if anything every happened with Ronnee? Did anyone ever manage to hear from her again? I know they sent post paid reply envelopes and everything!
And now you've lost the pattern for the companion piece ??? Oh Hilary you were just destined not to complete these pieces !!!! Oh my!

There is no way you can send a new piece round for a UFO RR....it's just not cricket!
{LOL} Well of you really don't like any of the above suggestions I can throw in Frederick - I've done 20 stitches on him so technically he's a WIP. But yes selecting from the first three in the poll would probably be better form .... I don;t know I try to give you more options and look what you do .....

Yeah but she didn't know that she'd be doing fractionals on Aida then ....
Even I can just about cope with that LOL,.
They don't look quite as good as on en evenweave/linen, but they're do-able!
Well, I might not be in love with fractionals on Aida, but I think I can survive them...
So...does this mean you'll send on Gather Ye Rosebuds??
I still think I may send the VS Woodland Sampler.
Based on poll results - it appears Gather Ye Rosebuds it is - I'll have to pull it out today and check that the chart is still readable to someone else. As this is indeed an ELTWIP from the mid-90s I probably am just marking it off the original chart as I go so I need to make sure its still in usable condition!
Also Claire and Hilary, just to be sure are you offering to work on my Fantasy RR *as well* as Gather Ye rosebuds? Doing this as a separate swap? Or do we want to leave these until next year? I'm happy to do it as an independent swap this year as I have time and room to work on a piece for each of you. Claire, I'm happy to work on your cat RR. Hilary, I know your 12 person one didn't come back, but did you have one that did come back unfinished? If so I'd be happy to work a square on that for you? Just let me know :)
Nah, send it on whenever...You're after me in the new one so I'll just mail one of my cats on with the first one in March....
I'll look at the border treatment and see if the whole thing needs a wash before I send it on :) I'll see if I can spend time on it *next* Friday - at this stage I have a three day weekend next weekend - working all this coming weekend!

Laura - you're straight after me in the address list - so you'll be the first to work on Rosebuds!
Question for you ladies ..... *if* Gather Ye Rosebuds gets completed before the RR is finished - can I then send around the companion piece "While Ye May"? I'll even get a few stitches in on it myself just in case ....
Sounds ok to me.....I still hope we can start this over again each year.
at the rate I'm going you might get Cirque next year! Its becoming more and more difficult to get into and I don;t know why .....
Eep......Can't see my crap eyes working on red...but who knows, you might get back into it and I might get back into Sea Stars.
