PMSL! Tell Stephen from me that he is a naughty boy! I have to forward the link to Mum as she thought the first one was funny.

Nice one.

I have that cat, his name is Zeke. He has 2" claws, and our front door is metal-clad. That's such a cheerful sound in the middle of the night....

Those are funny! Thanks for posting the links.

Mow. [points]

Melissa Hicks said...

PMSL !!!! yup that is indeed the gesture du jour.

Speaking of which, I am home and have food. Feel free to join me sometime before 8:30pm. I'd like to cook and be ready to eat before Gruen comes on ......

I will be leaving somewhere between 5:30 & 6. I'll call as I leave.

Gosh that's so domestic...cute!

Melissa Hicks said...

What ???? I can do domestic. I even did his ironing on Monday.

OK so my mother will fall over when she reads that ......

And I can cook tonight - after all he's cooking me a lamb roast over the weekend {yum}

Claire EJ said...

YOU did HIS ironing....[THUD]......pass the smelling salts and the brandy please.

Stephen Silk said...

I would like it known that I did not ask or expect her to do the ironing.

Melissa Hicks said...

No but it was worth it for that response from Claire :)

Should I mention the washing up then too .....

Mel - thinking Claire's got the right idea with the Brandy :)

Claire EJ said...

I would think that had you asked, the answer would have been a resounding no...

Claire EJ said...

meh, washing up is a PITA but a necessity....

Melissa Hicks said...

You got it in one - Stephen would *not* have asked! That's why I did it :) Also I needed something to do with my hands while I was stressing/mulling over home/job situation and I usually do housework.

Claire EJ said...

Should have pulled out the flipping Castle and stitched...PMSL at myself....

Melissa Hicks said...

And the resulting frog infestation .........

Claire EJ said...

.....Would not have happened. They are all here in England as of last night.

Michele Anderson said...

MIL should be here in an hour for the stitching session today. Am hoping to get the stitching done on the top 1/3 of page 2. Blew it up into 3 BIG sections for visability. Also, smaller sections make it seem like I am getting something done!! LOL!

Mariann Mäder said...

Thanks, love! Wonderful installment this was. I think this guy has to know Minou through some mysterious waves.

That or he just has one like Minou! The "treading" is SO well done! Minou is just exactly like that one. With the annoying meowing, too, LOL

Karen R said...

OMG!!! Okay, so whazzit mean if I have a dog exactly like that???? Without the kneading bit, but pawing instead, and of course, woofing instead of meowing??? She kinda picks up where my old cat left off, since he's not too good at the climbing & kneading these days....

I think every animal in my house has some kind of identity crisis - or we seem to choose too many similar critters to bring in....

Melissa Hicks said...

You mean some people have animals that DON'T have identity crises?

Although Trubs doesn't really consider hers a crisis - more of a redressing of the Universe's balance ....

Melissa Hicks said...

Oh Bugger !!!! How bad?

Karen R said...

I actually have one cat who knows he's a cat. But then again, he's the critter I like the least in the menagerie, so maybe that has soemthing to do with it...?

Claire EJ said...

Wrong colour twice and all in 3/4 stitches..nightmare to frog. Could have been much worse though as I caught the second one early on and realised the first wasn't blue enough...
