Unless there is something that I don't about like I'll be working the reference desk every day from midday until 8pm or some such nonsense ....... unless there's something weird happening, I will accept the offer.
I am definitely going to discuss timings of the move (My Director here has asked for 4 weeks if possible) so I will try to be bargaining for 5 weeks before I start to give me one week to move. I don't qualify for any of their relocation assistance (its only for HEW 9and above and I'll be going in at a HEW 8 darn it) but if they want me there less than 5 weeks then I'll try to bargain that they need to provide me with relocation then.
I also want to ask about their provisions for flex leave, superannuation, sick and rec leave provisions - if I can move over the balance of unused sick and rec leave from my current job, why the position is vacant? What constitutes core hours etc etc.
