Oh god I'm so in love its sickening! I'm still sitting here with a goofy smile on my face. At 5am in the morning!
Maybe the post-sex endorphins are still swimming around my system ..... yup that's the answer!
You know when you are feeling down or everything is getting on top of you and you just wish someone would give you a hug and tell you everything will be alright ....
Well I've learnt over the years that no matter how much I wish for it, it never happens. I get lots of virtual hugs and long distance support from you guys (which is one of the reasons I blather about so much in this blog - you guys *are* my support mechanism) and of course my mum and Alison help as much as they can - but I learned never to expect it from my partners.
I didn't even hope for anything last weekend - I knew if Stephen didn;t visit for my birthday then he wouldn't be visiting at all for a while ....
I was wrong. He visited when I needed the visit.

Hey - you be happy and nausating all you like! It is lovely to hear someone so happy!!!!!
Still jealous but..............
;)
Good for you!! I never get that either - I'm married :(
Fantastic, Mel!!! I'm so happy for you!
Yeah I had one of those .... got rid of him .....
Many many hugs! You definitely deserve better!
Dang, I'm jealous!!! Not really. Stephen sounds very intuitive if he can make the decision to travel from one side of a continent to another, overnight to support you. I will state the obvious - he's shaping up to be a keeper. Shoot me if you will!
No shooting - I agree with you.
Hums: "I'll never fall in love agai-he-he-hen...."
Had to throw some sand into the machinery, sorry, love!
I'm thoroughly glad for you that your disillusion with love a few months ago didn't stand up to the good one!
Oh the love is definitely there on both sides - its just the same main issue and other practicalities .... we'll get it sorted out one way or another ....
PMSL at the post :)
Love hearing you so happy!
(grin)
Nice to hear you smile again Mel. I hope you do get it worked out.
I'm glad to hear that you are so happy Mel! That's wonderful!
Wasn't sure what I'd see here with the title.. glad to hear that it's this sort of sickening! Blather away all you like - I can about picture the grin!
When finding out that I'm happy because "my boy from Perth visited me on the weekend" my work colleagues comments range from "I'm married I wouldn't know anything about that" to "oh go away I'm jealous!"
MY best friends at work - the four I'm taking to lunch today, al responded with variants of "Its just wrong to see you so happy without an equivalent level of misery from your staff"
{tee hee}
Reality has intruded somewhat. I had my repeat eye test yesterday and it appears that the swollen macula is due to stress - not infection. So I need to "find your happy place" and my eye will improve. Apparently the more stressed a person is, the harder they force their eyes to work, therefore they don't last as long as normal ....
Also got my taxes done for the year last night - got just enough back to cover the tax agents fees .... grumble mumble.
Finally the removalists visit tomorrow so its probably an all nighter tonight getting everything ready for them. I'll send out one final email before unhooking the home computer for at least a week .... probably much longer as they wont connect the home phone until Friday and then the Internet will be 10-14 working days from there.
I'll find a way to keep in touch somehow .....
Good luck with all!!!!
Glad things are turning upwards for you. Good luck with the move. Look forward to hearing from you when your'e at the other end....
Too flipping right you'll keep in touch! Text me any time. I'll relay whatever messages I can..
Good luck with it all babes, will me you being here.
So here's to hoping that once you're settled, this will clear up in a hurry!
Eh? I think I understand ....
thanks for all the good wishes everyone and yes Claire I will certainly txt you wherever possible and I know you wont always be able to txt me back.
To be perfectly honest I am sure it will clear up as soon as I get off the trains ....
But you will have to find some other stories to tell us in place of the train stories :) Surely you'll bump into a nutter or two in Melbourne...?
Melbourne? No - Melbourne is a perfect place. The only nutters there are nutters like me. The streets are always clean, the people always friendly, the shopkeepers sing every morning when opening the shutters ....
Ummm -yeah - I think I'd better go and have a lie-down now.
I think Mel has finally lost it... :(
Whadya mean finally? It was lost eons ago!
I think I lost my marbles at age 5 - I think they ended up at the same place as my wits and sense of humour sometimes :(
About to send out a goodbye message and shut down the 'puter for the move.
Gack...not coping well at thought of you being offline..never mind that I won't be here til Saturday, that's not the point...sniffs...
Good luck with it all.
Will still have txt dearest - even though that's waaaay more expensive for you.
I'll be online whenever and wherever possible :) Just not at home.
Glad to hear you happy. And I hope the move goes well. (sorry if you missed this before you go)
Best of luck with your move Mel!
May your stress be less, the miles fly, the time you spend go in the blink of an eye. We shall see you when you return my dear, your global freinds will be waiting here.
