Mel's RR for Next Year

Which project do you want to stitch on?

Long Dog Beautie Spotte

 2

Inkcircles Garden Stars (only if Claire doesn't use this for her choice)

 1

Pako Historical Dress Sampler

 1

Long Dog Opus Magnussen

 1

Papillon Historic Mystery Sampler (via Gift of Stitching)

 0

Long Dog Sunne Spotte

OK ladies,

What would you prefer to stitch on?

Going with Claire's Spotty Stars theme - I have chosen only Spot Samplers for 2009.

(therefore no TW or afghans or chatelaines)

Pictures of each of these projects are here.

Sorry Lyne - you got in before the Poll was completed and I've "lost" your response in my playing around :(

I will be using Garden Stars.....sorry love..but why couldn't we have two of them on the go? would it matter? they'd both be very different....
I won't be sending floss with mine. It will be PYO , a bit like fruit LOL

The only reason I included Garden Stars is because I already have it kitted up :) :)

Same as the Pako sampler - its a kit I bought in 1995.

I *love* the historical dresses... What fabric is that one on?

That said, I'd prefer Beautie Spotte or Sonne Spotte to Garden Stars, sorry. You wouldn't need to send floss around with that either. We could each just use our own DMC...

LOL. I just voted, and so far dear, you have a 4 way tie! Looks like you are going to be deciding on your own after all!

I just voted and looks like I may have tipped the balance, unless of course someone else votes

OK check the pictures again - I've added in yet another option.

As for the others:

All the Long Dogs will be done in the GAST colours, not the DMC colours. So if one is chosen it will be kitted up before it goes :)

Garden Stars - has been removed from the running - I think we want to stitch different designs next year. And one Garden Stars is enough: :) :)

Pako Historical Dresses is an Aida kit with all the floss, but the chart itself is all whole crosses. No fractionals or backstitching. Even if we don't stitch this one I might start it myself. I remember lying to my husband at the time about how much that particular kit cost me :) :)

Seasons of the Trees by Rosewood manor - I;d completely forgotten this one - a RAK by Claire. If Lyne does not choose AAFG then I'd like to add this one in for consideration for me.

Let me know your thoughts and if you want to change your poll votes .....

PMSL....I was just looking at the trees earlier and working out whether or not to change mine....I won't be though.
Mine will be Garden Stars.

I would probably vote for the trees one though.

Ooh I like the tree one. I'll change my vote and vote for that one

Seasons of the Trees is actually on my mental wish list :-) I love this one and would love to help stitch it, Mel :-)

but the dresses are still my favourite... If I can give you a lovely piece of linen I'll gladly do so, love! I think it deserves something better than kit-aida usually is! Heck, tell me how much you need and I do it anyway if you seriously consider taking it up. As your divorce lies a few years in the past I suppose you've coveted it for a while already, he he.

Aaaaarrrggghhhhhhhh !!!!!! Now that Lyne has chosen not to do AAFG,

I want to do Seasons of the Trees AND Historical Dresses AND Beautie Spotte !!!!

I can't choose between them !!!!

Maybe I need another poll ........ I want to start them ALL immediately .....

They are all gorgeous..... decisions, decisions

I vote for the Trees!! I've wanted to work on one of these and don't have the patterns for myself yet so stitching for you would be superb!

Laura Landis said...

OH, and if not the trees, then Sunne Spotte. Love the colors!!

Aaaarrrrgghhhhh!!!! You see my dilemma !!!!!

OK new poll coming up.
