Gardens and yard

Some sort of succulent with its flower in my back garden.

This album contains pics of my front and back yards around my house and sometimes the neighbours.

Thank heavens you have a handrail to haul yourself up and down again...I'm exhausted just looking at the steps.

What lovely pictures. The birds are really beautiful too. Must be very refreshing to have such a lovely view from your home.

Beautiful Mel! All that in your yard? So cool!

WOW! If I ever get to Oz, can I stay at your house? I could spend all day watching those beautiful birds! We have plenty of Cardinals, Blue Jays and Bluebirds, but they just aren't the same as parrots and cockatoos. I just can't imagine seeing a flock of them in flight, since my only experience is seeing them in cages or on perces in stores. I guess I need to go to Central/South America, too, to see the Macaws before they're all gone, huh?

WOW - makes the view out my door look VERY tame! I could spend hours watching those beautiful birds!

Thanks ladies - yes all of these pics were taken from my yard (except for two going up shortly that shows the neighbour's rather more well kept manicured lawn - I stepped onto her property to take those two shots). Everything else is in my house and yard or the photo was taken from within my house or yard. You can see why I love this house so much ..... More pics going up over the next few days - {insert expletive of choice here} dial-up connection!

I *do* spend hours watching them - was never really interested in our feathered friends until II moved into this house :)

Cracks me up looking at your Gum tree,,,,,makes my little baby one look sooooo titchy small whereas for our back yard, it's a huge thing LOL.
Loving the pictures. I think everyone should do this so we can all see what's where each other lives and what wildlife we all have.

There's a house in there?? really?

Msg was supposed to say...cute tree. This keyboard bounces too quickly on vowels.
T'ree is of course gender neutral but leans towards the feminine side....will post pics...fat and fluffy....
Hector is young and after HIS drinking session definitely needs a pick me up!!!

Well Hector is adorable - and his name somehow fits. I *do* see why it is you put up with all the hassles; it looks like a gorgeous place to live. [Waves from New York]. Hi Mel's Mum! I'm glad you're both kicking back and relaxing; that's what I'm planning for next weekend!
