Soooo Hot!

God its hot - so hot. We were over 40 degrees today (over 100F) and its now just after midnight and its still over 30 degrees .... I can't stitch in this weather - I can't move in this weather - all I can do is sit in the dark and hope the cool air will come.

I'm off for a cool shower to sluice off the sweat and then off to bed.

Dear Santa,
Please send some cool winds and rain :) Oh and lots of stash and books - oh and no bills for a while OK? Oh and don't forget the broadband connection!

Hugs
Mel

I wish I could package our weather for you Mel! I'd almost prefer the 100 degrees over the teens we are having right now.. although my weather bug tells me it's 30 out right now.. so why are my feet so frigging cold????? LOL

I think Jamie on BAPXS had the right idea - lets go the middle ground between the two :) I'll take early 20's Celsius any day !

Over here, 30 is MINUS ONE...remember how cold it was standing in Finchingfield last year?? same temperature...brrrrrr.

Glad to hear you got some relief, Mel! I'm suffering withdrawal - while I KNOW that 50 (F) is not normal for November/December here, I was really enjoying it - and dropping to highs in the 30's literally in hours has me whining with Teegs!

Boy do I know that feeling! The weather here is nuts. I don't know which jacket/coat to wear from day to day....
Today is rain all the way. Yesterday was gale force SIX....nasty.....I want winter to be over already.

Still going to be cooler the rest of this week but slowly climbing - will be back to being too hot by the weekend .... {sigh}

Oh I forgot to mention, Paul came over on Sunday night and he fixed my light fittings - I can see to stitch again! Now if only I wasn't so darn tired that I keep falling asleep with the needle in my hand after 2 stitches!
