ITS DONE!!! ITS DONE ITS DONE ITS DONE !!!!

And its not midnight yet !!! YES!!! Its done!

OK so I thought this might have been a bit touch and go - but Livres Chat Rouge is finished, washed, ironed, scanned and put away to await the framers.

Claire, do you want to borrow my chart?

Had a lovely few hours at work today - then bought a few DVDs, ordered some Vietnamese food, finished the novel I was reading and am having a nice homebody evening in with the cat :)

And you know what - I feel content and happy!

HAPPY NEW YEARS ALL !!!! I hope 2007 is a better happy relaxed and more profitable year for you all !!!

Ooh, yes please...is that with border too??? LCR will be LCP here....Carrie's ltd purple.

Your evening sounds perfect and LCR is lovely! Congrats. We're sitting here waiting for the Sydney fireworks at 1pm, your midnight:)

Our evening will be Thai takeaway which we ordered last night, tv starting with the Strongest Man heats and a quiz of the year thing and then watching a silly film 'til midnight comes in. I plan to stitch.....

Had my dinner - it was delicious!! Popped on a DVD, cuddled on the lounge with Trubby! Went out at 9pm and watched the kiddies fireworks from the balcony. Came back inside, turned the DVD back on and promptly fell asleep. Was woken at 2 minutes to midnight by Paul ringing from whatever party he was at to wish me Happy New Year and to propose. I was too tired to be polite so he's under no illusions on that score I'm afraid! God I hope that was his idea of a joke!

Anyway got off the phone, got on the net but my eyeballs are hanging out of my head - so I'm off to bed and a good night's sleep.

Tonight sleep! Tomorrow the SAL !!!

And I will respond to all other emails and blog posts tomorrow too - sorry all - too tired to write meaningfully tonight.

Who knows I might even get caught up with the BAPXS list :)

Happy New Year, Mel!

LCR looks great! Really nice kitty on top of them.

I've done most of my stitching today and will probably just stay around on the computer and the net and see how the evening unfolds, then go to bed. Not the partying type at all, so staying nicely at home will do fine with me, LOL...

Hope you get a better start to 2007 than end 2006! Hugs!

This is great! I'd ask to borrow it if you were not a couple thousand miles away or so.

I wrote and long a detailed reply and somehow lost it all ..... anyway lets see if I can get the gist of it :)

Mariann - I think you and I are kindred spirits - I prefer my own company to that of thousands of drunken strangers !!! Not to mention the logistics of getting in and out of such crowded places !!!

Of the people that I would have liked to spend New Years Eve with - well Dk has her own family (and neither Salem or I were up for the drive) Paul was in partying mode, so I left him go out and party with his mates, my friend from work was in Canberra with her parents, mums gone home, and you lot live too far away !!!!

Lots of people from work looked at me crazily yesterday when I trooped back through with my new DVDs and my order form for the Vietnamese restaurant. I was so "boring" and such a "homebody" and a "recluse".

I enjoyed it :)

He turned out wonderfully!

And I was asleep by 11:30 or so, only to be awoken by the usual fireworks and gunshots ringing out, even in the pouring rain!

I love this piece! And your New Year's Eve sounds wonderful, too! I had a house full of company (ok, well 8 people), but was in an ambulance until 10 pm, so only got to spend a couple of hours with everyone. Thank goodness my mum and my sister were there to take over!

Great work. We toasted in the New Year, ate some veggies and dip, cleaned up and went to bed.
