That is one interesting jigsaw. Last one bought for me was a Discworld one which I have never gotten around to but a "non flat" one...wow, looks great made up. Thanks for the pics!!!
Oh I'm not sure she believed me :) But yes mum gave me a great present !!! I think I'm going to carry my camera everywhere for the next few weeks so I can play with my new toy !!!
I'll also upload pics of the rest of my stitching stash shortly! Thank you to DK Claire and Tracy - who were all in cahoots !!!!!
I tried to take my film in to be developed today (I didn't get a neat new digital camera for christmas ) and my photo shop is shut till Tuesday. Swear, curse, rant! It is still quicker to wait till Tuesday than to take it into the one hour shop in Woolworths which always takes a couple of days. I take it Tracy didn't tell you of my offer to hand deliver?
It's a good photo...and what's wrong with a home dye job? That's how mine gets done all the time. It's probably why mine needs doing so badly now, just not in the mood at all for the smell of the stuff.
I love having a good backwash at the hairdresser. Love it. But, getting a good dye job here costs around £90 so double that in Aussie $$ and fuhgeddaboutit!
I don't feel so bad, the full works here runs me about $84. Partly why my color hasn't been done in a while. I'm not quite brave enough to do it myself, but I might get there!
I have been using home dye since I was 13. The first time, I planned to go jet black and scared myself to bits. I put the colour on and after 5 minutes, it started to drip purple...I freaked and washed it out instantly. Jet black hair after 5 minutes! Scary stuff. I'm using a mahogany mostly this winter. My summer blobby colours look stupid at this time of year so a bottle of one colours works well.
{grin} I do screaming red in summer and burgundy in winter. Occasionally I mix it up a bit with a honey blond or back to a mouse brunette - but a ideological redhead I am through and through and just keep coming back to my favourite colours :)

~~waves~~ Hello Mum....nice to see you.
Would like a picture of your daughter please :)
Hector is such a cut tree. T'ree sends needles and sap to him....looks like he needs it.
Hector thanks T'ree but would also like to remind him that he's very young and still has lots of growing to do .......
It's coming, Claire. I just need some 'puter time to put up photo's of Mel receiving her hand delivered pressies. Sorry I'm being slack.

Is that Meowy watsit hanging up there?? looks different from an angle.
Lovely calendar.
Heavens, that is one tidy computer corner,....Your Mum looks so at home there :)
No wonder she has such a shocked expression!!! LOL. By the sound of your lovely gift, she believed you too.
I like the inside of your house as much as the birds outside!! :) I do need you to come organize my computer area, though....
That;s easy - schedule a visit from your mum :) Two weeks ago I couldn't remember what colour my computer desk was :)

Er yes, how did it get to DK???
Tracy, what happened?? LOL
It certainly is Meowy Christmas:) I thought you might like the Calendar :) Its made of heavy cardstock too - so I might frame each month as I go :)
Nifty! i do like it, a lot. Wish my keyboard didn't bounce so much, grrrrr.....Home looks comfy and a nice place to be :)
As long as you don't want any advanced forms of telecommunications - grrrr!
Yup its the next day and I'm still peeved :)
I would be too. I'd be ready to go down there, grab someone by the scruff of the neck and scream at them.
Sigh. {{{Mel}}}
Tempting - I'm working at the same centre as the saleswoman on Sunday :)
hehehe, go for it!!! She'll soon learn to choose her words a little more carefully.!

Er no........I had been wondering why Mel hadn't said she'd got it LOL.
Yup, same haircut!
{LOL} You were right :) Actually except for the double chin - I quite like this photograph - home dye job and all :)

There's nothing *wrong* with a home dye job. Its just that I'm hedonistic - I *like* spending hours at the hairdresser getting fussed over :)

Urg - Multiply is playing up yet again !!!! Why am I losing posts ?????
A basic colour costs me around $75 Australian. A full works, wash, colour, foils, wash cut and style (around 4 hours workth) costs me $180-$210 Aust.
Surpringly enough, I can *not* afford to do that every six weeks {sigh}
