Hmmm ....

Guess which project I was stitching when I left to answer the phone.  Is this now an occupational hazard whenever I answer the phone to Mr N T Bears?

You have to admire how Trubs is so perfectly centred there:)

All projects, including BoInk, should have added natural fibres:)

P.S. would love to know where the needle was at this point?

She's adding her festive fur present to make sure it is from both of you!

Actually that is this project:

Not Boink. And as I got up to answer the phone I believe the needle was stuck right through the middle of the fabric, part way through a stitch. Knowing Trubs she is probably curled up *around* the needle.

Actually Mr S will remember more than I do - but from memory Trubs was talking to him down the phone almost up to the end of the phone call.

She must have jumped down, hurried over and made herself comfortable while I was saying goodbye !!!!!!!

Devious...you made me think it was BoInk with the chart lurking there behind Trubs LOL.

I'm not sure which project it was, but I am fairly sure it now has speciality fibres in it!

I had to laugh at how she managed to fit her whole self on such a small set of q-snaps.

Trubs is just "guarding" your stitching...

Ah I see - no Boink is actually in its ziplock with the chart ...

That's am 8' x 11'' set there :)

Even after I went to bed, she stayed down there until hours after I fell asleep I think she was trying to tell me something.

Stitch faster Mum!?

I wonder why she chose the hard plastic Q-Snaps over the soft couch cushions? I mean she really did her best to make sure that she covered your entire project, LOL!

Melissa Hicks said...

O think she was trying to fit her bulk *inside* the Q-snaps like she does inside her basket .... the fabric was tensioned, so initially it must have felt very much like a trampoline ...

Sadie will do this if I leave anything out too. How cute!

She's just keeping it warm until you get back to it :)

I quote what I used to hear every time someone took my place:

Qui va à la chasse
Perd sa place
Et quand il revient
Il trouve un gros chien (errrr... chat, but that doesn't rhyme anymore)

Cat on a q-snap trampoline, now there's an image :-)))

That's very cute.

The usual rejoinder for us when we return to find someone in our seats "Will you jump into my grave so fast?"

It must have done something though - because that project is now finished :)

Babelfish says the translation is:

Who goes to hunting Its place loses And when it returns It finds a large dog

Or in this cat replace the last words with grumpy cat :)

Mariann Mäder said...

And look here! Babelfish got it mostly right :-)

Though "il* translates to "it" as well as "he"
