Third Present Finished

Stitched on white 28ct Cashel linen using recommended DMC threads.  Chart from an old 1990s Cross Stitch Australia magazine.

This and the First Present need to go to the framer on Friday.

Time to see if I'm optimistic enough to start the fourth present ....

Nicely done love...so glad you have Guiseppe spelled correctly LOL.

Also glad to see yer mouse working too!

Congrats on getting the third done!

Had to replace the mouse this evening. I was panicking I'd picked up some form of virus - but no - just the mouse itself had gone to the great cheese in the sky ....

Claire EJ said...

Ah, the great cheese in the sky....

Passed a van with the name "cheesewheeler.com" on the side yesterday...made me think of your mouse LOL.

Fourth present not as big as I thought. Got through one third of it tonight. It may be finished over the weekend too.

Holy smokin' needles Mel. You're really stitching up a storm!

That's fantastic!!! Never let anything like a thread shortage get in your way!!

Natalie Mikesell said...

Lovely finish :) You are doing amazing with your Christmas stitching!

Wowsa - you're on a roll! Congrats and very well done!

Don't get too excited - each present is getting progressively smaller. And I'm not sure the intended recipient will want four and five - so we will see as time goes by ....

I just finished the 2nd of 5 presents. Will take a picture of this one later and post it as this one is not going to someone on Multiply that might see it. I am starting on number 3 now.

Wel done!- what is with your page!!!

Melissa Hicks said...

You're viewing through IE again - aren't you.

They all work fine through Firefox {whine}

Rachel Cox said...

No firefox here - I don't even knw what is it!

Claire EJ said...

I'm using Firefox and at the very bottom, the submet and preview buttons have
"bandwidth exceeded" across them and the suggestion to go pro today.
I'm wondering if it is the template and a cock up on there.

Claire EJ said...

Well done Chele belle!

Rachel Cox said...

The whole page here is covered in bandwidth exceeded Makes seeing it quite dificult! Sounds like the template to me - pictures are out!

Claire EJ said...

To me, it's just the buttons at the bottom, not the rest of it...sighs...themes can be a nightmare, that's why I prefer to use my own photos and colour choices etc.

Karen R said...

Yeah, your page is all whacked to me, too, through Firefox, here at work and at home. Natalie's is like that to me, too. I don't know if it means us non-premium people can't see certain themes now, or if Photobucket is trying to get people to upgrade.... I'll send you a screen shot of it via e-mail....

Claire EJ said...

Ah hah..so it's not just us here in the UK....could well be photobucket being a problem....again,.

Melissa Hicks said...

Screenshot shows it totally whacked :(

Will get a new theme tonight .... pity really ...

Claire EJ said...

I like this theme, seems a shame to have to get a new one...

Michele Anderson said...

I only see the bandwidth exceeded on the bottom buttons while I go to click on them. But the shell to the right side of the add a comment section does block what is typed behind it so you can't see if you made a typo until after you post the note. LOL!

Claire EJ said...

I've just seen the screenshot Karen sent out to myself and Mel..eep, the entire page is cover, Chele, in the stuff we just see on the bottom buttons...
I think we're lucky to just have it over the buttons!

Melissa Hicks said...

It still looks normal to me - regardless of which PC I use to view it ....

Mariann Mäder said...

It looks normal to me, too, and I'm watching it on IE 6 from the office. Even the buttons look perfectly normal.

Blasted IE 7! Not worth the silicon it's pressed on!!!

Verdi looks great, Mel! I'm sure the whole series is gorgeous!

Rachel Cox said...

He is cool, very clever Mel, I can read it and see so much easier. These old eyes ain't what they used to be!

Claire EJ said...

Love this new theme!
Very elegant and sooooo you.

Shawn Medrano said...
